Professional Floristry Masterclasses

Transform your passion for flowers into professional expertise through our comprehensive hands-on workshops and personalized instruction programs

Comprehensive Workshop Portfolio

We've been running floristry workshops since 2019, and honestly, each session teaches us something new too. Our approach isn't about following rigid formulas—it's about understanding how different flowers behave, what works in Baku's climate, and how to create arrangements that actually last.

  • Seasonal arrangement workshops focusing on locally available blooms
  • Wedding bouquet design with emphasis on durability and transport
  • Corporate event centerpieces and large-scale installations
  • Sympathy arrangements and memorial floristry techniques
  • Holiday-specific designs adapted to local celebrations
  • Advanced wiring and structural support methods

What makes our workshops different is the practical focus. You'll work with flowers that are actually available here, learn techniques that work in our humidity, and understand the business side of floristry in the Azerbaijan market. Our next intensive series starts in September 2025.

Our Teaching Methodology

After six years of teaching floristry, we've learned that everyone absorbs information differently. Some students are visual learners who need to see the entire process, others learn best by jumping in and making mistakes. Our workshops accommodate both approaches.

Hands-On Practice

Every student works with real flowers from day one. No demonstrations without practice—you'll create complete arrangements in each session.

Market Knowledge

We teach you where to source quality flowers locally, how to negotiate with suppliers, and which varieties perform best in our climate.

Business Skills

Pricing strategies, client communication, and workflow management—the practical skills you need if you're considering floristry professionally.

How Our Workshop Booking Works

We keep class sizes small—maximum eight students per workshop—so the booking process is pretty straightforward but does require some advance planning.

Initial Consultation

We start with a brief conversation about your experience level and what you want to achieve. This helps us recommend the right workshop series for your goals.

Usually takes 15-20 minutes, can be done by phone or in person

Workshop Selection & Scheduling

Based on our conversation, we'll suggest specific workshops and available dates. Our autumn 2025 schedule includes both weekend intensives and weekday evening series.

Booking confirmation requires 50% deposit, refundable up to 10 days before start date

Pre-Workshop Preparation

We'll send you a materials list and some basic reading. Nothing overwhelming—just enough to help you get the most from the hands-on time.

Mirsaleh Hamidov

Lead Instructor

Former hotel events coordinator who transitioned to floristry in 2018. Specializes in large-scale installations and wedding work.

Specialized Instruction Areas

Mirsaleh brings a unique perspective to floristry education. His background in hospitality means he understands the pressure of working with tight deadlines and demanding clients. He's particularly good at teaching the problem-solving aspects of floristry—what to do when your planned flowers aren't available, how to modify designs on the fly, and how to manage client expectations realistically.

His workshops focus heavily on the practical realities of working as a florist. Students learn not just how to create beautiful arrangements, but how to create them efficiently, how to transport them safely, and how to build relationships with suppliers and clients. The business aspects are woven throughout the hands-on training because, as he puts it, "beautiful flowers that don't make financial sense won't keep you in business long."
